Mr. Junior Andy Flippin, age 74 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at his home. Mr. Flippin was born in Stokes County, North Carolina on September 6, 1942 to the late Andy Jesse Flippin and Lula Mae Bingman Flippin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Flippin was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Flippin and a brother, Kenneth Ray Flippin. He was a Dad who was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Mr. Flippin is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ilene Hall Flippin of Bassett; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Whitney Cox of Stuart; a son and daughter-in-law, Darryl S. and Lori Flippin of Martinsville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; two step-great-grandsons; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Rufus Lawson of Stuart, Shelby and George Hall of Collinsville, Linda and Gary Quesenberry of Laurel Fork; two brothers, Billy Wayne Flippin and Eddie Joe Flippin, both of Stuart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Junior Andy Flippin Memorial Fund, c/o Moody Funeral Home, P.O. Box 307, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
