COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Ruby Ann Billingsley, 79, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Fri., April 2, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cookeville City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. today, March 31, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Billingsley died on Tues., March 30, 1999, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

She was born on Mary 24, 1919, in Jackson County to the late Walter and Daisy Dixon Flatt. Mrs. Billingsley was retired from Uniroyal. She was also a homemaker and a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ.

Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Hollis and Frances Walker of Cookeville; two sisters, Clarcie Bush of Cookeville and Winnie Williford of Kentucky; grandchildren, Don and Debbie Walker and Randy Walker; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Billingsley; and an infant daughter, June Billingsley.
