Mrs. Flanders, who died Tuesday at her home in Belfast, Me., was a native of Chicago. An accomplished musician, she studied in Boston and taught here for a time. She also served as organist for various churches in Boston and Providence, and as piano accompanist for various concert singers. She had lived in Brookline for many years.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn H. Robinson of Lake Forest, Ill. and Mrs. Frances M. Howard of Brookline, and a sister, Miss Anna C. Ayers of St. Petersburg, Fla.
