Patricia Ann Downey, 74, Gautier, Miss., died Monday, March 6, 2006, at River Chase Village Nursing Center, Gautier, Miss.
Patricia Fischbach was born June 23, 1931, in Aberdeen to Ben and Blanche (Druley) Fischbach. She attended the Dunker Rural School in Mellette Township and Northville Elementary School. She graduated from Central High School, Aberdeen, in 1948. She attended South Dakota State College, Brookings, and Air Reservationist School in Kansas City.
She married James Downey in Kansas City in 1953.
Survivors include her husband; six children: Mrs. Max (Patricia Sue) Hipps, Pendleton, S.C., James M. Downey, Biloxi, Miss., Bernard M. Downey, Savannah, Ga., Russel B. Downey, Burbank, Calif., Mrs. Robin (Mary A.) Hart, Pascagoula, Miss., and Mitchell K. Downey, Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren; and two brothers: Bernard, Mellette, and Joseph, Rapid City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
