Death Comes to Andrew Finneran

Well Known Kickapoo Township Farmer a Native of Leavenworth

Andrew A. Finneran, 65, a life resident of Leavenworth County and widely known farmer, died at noon today at his home, southwest of Mount Zion cemetery on rural route four.

Born January 20, 1878, in Leavenworth, Mr. Finneran was a son of John and Julia Finneran. His marriage to Miss Martha Wise was at the St. Joseph Catholic church, October 23, 1898. He was a member of the Cathedral parish.

Other than his widow, Mrs. Martha Finneran of the home, Mr. Finneran leaves seven daughters, Mrs. Julia Knapp, 813 Dakota; Mrs. Helen Pennington, 2510 south Fourth; Mrs. Anna Dodd, 836 Rees; Mrs. Myrtle Hilscher, 2100 south Fourth; Mrs. Mabel Miller, 700 1/2 Cherokee; Mrs. Frances Zimmerman, McLouth; Miss Lucille Finneran of the home address; four sons, John Finneran, Eighteeth and Dakota; Leo Finneran, American Fork, Utah; Private, First Class, Louis Finneran, home address, a brother, James Finneran rural route four; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
