ARLINGTON HEIGHTS HERALD, Arlington Heights, Illinois, Friday,  October 16, 1942, Page 6:  Caroline Fiene
 Caroline Fiene, nee Krage was born February 3, 1864 in Addison township, Ill., was baptized and confirmed at Churchville Lutheran church by Rev. Franke.  She was united in marriage to Mr. Adolph Fiene June 15, 1882, by Rev. Franke at the Churchville Lutheran church.
 After marriage this couple made their home near York Center until 1905, when they came to make their home in Addison township, where on Wednesday morning, October 7, 1942, she passed away at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 4 days.  Mr. Fiene preceded his wife in death in 1926.
 Mrs. Fiene leaves to mourn her departure 13 living children, four daughters, Mrs. Amanda Bockelmann, Mrs. Augusta Plass, Mrs. Emma Ellerbruck, Mrs. Edna Blume; and nine sons, Martin, Adolph, Theo, William, Edwin, Fred, Louis, Otto, Walter; four sons-in-law and nine daughters-in-law; 36 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; four brothers, Fred, Louis, Martin, and Walter Krage, and a host of other relatives and friends.
 Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m. at her residence and at 1:30 p.m. at the Churchville Ev. Luth. church.  Interment will be in the
Churchville Lutheran cemetery.

She married my great great grandfather Adolph Fiene on June 15, 1882.

The verse on their gravestone is:
Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Isaiah 3:10
