Bonnie Bartlett
SPRINGFIELD — The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Saint Alice Catholic Church in Springfield for Bonnie "Jacqueline" Bartlett of Springfield, who died March 3 of cancer. She was 77.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, March 7, at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Funeral Home & Crematorium in Eugene. Recitation of the rosary will be at 6 p.m. today, March 7, at the funeral home.
She was born July 22, 1934, in Nyssa to Clifford and Viola Glascock Fields. She married Elwin Bennett in 1954 in Nevada. They divorced in 1960. She married Theodore Harvey Bartlett on Dec. 23, 1986, in Canyonville. He died July 22, 1992.
She attended grammar school in Alturas, Calif., and high school in Donnelly, Idaho. She worked as a child care provider for many years. She also worked as a hotel maid, a waitress and line worker at Agripac in Eugene.
Survivors include five sons, Craig Wilmarth and Alan Bartlett, both of Springfield, Monte Bennett of Australia, David Bennett of Dorena and Clifford Bartlett of Cottage Grove; two daughters, Cynthia Oakes of Junction City and Brenda Spencer of Veneta; two brothers, Pete Fields of Donnelly, Idaho, and Rick Fields of Wieser, Idaho; three sisters, Shorty Spivey of Vale and Shonna Gilbert and Sharon Burgess, both of Emmett, Idaho; 35 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. A son, Samuel Lewis Bartlett, died in 2008.
Burial will be at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, March 8, at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Hills Cemetery, Funeral Home & Crematorium in Eugene.
