Son of Moses Fields & Mahala Cadle; grdson of Chief Richard Fields, Jr. Served in Cherokee Legislature as Senator, 2 terms. Civil War Co D 2nd Cherokee Mtd. Volunteers,CSA (later lst Regiment: Col.Stand Watie):Fought at Battle of Pea Ridge. Father of Mattie(Donahue); Moses; twins,Nancy L.(Hatfield) & Caroline(Washbourne); Alice H.(Denbo); Robert Wyly; Maude Elene Fields; and numerous children,died as infants. LOCATION; Go to Maysville AK; cross over Oklahoma border; to cemetery.
