MCALISTERVILLE - Pauline G. Aurand, 94, of RR1 McAlisterville, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Locust Grove Retirement Center, Mifflin, where she had been a resident for the past four years. She also lived many years in Troxelville.
Born July 25, 1914, in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Forry and Mary Jane (Narehood) Fetterolf. In 1936, she married the late Boyd T. Aurand, who passed away June 5, 1984.
She is survived by: two sons of Scottsville, N.Y.; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-
grandchildren; and two sisters, Nellie, of Brookline Manor, Middleburg and Josephine, of Beavertown.
She was preceded in death by: a granddaughter, Penny Dudley; four sisters, Beatrice Flowers, Alma Bingaman, Bernice Wagner and Edna Fetterolf; and two brothers, Myron and Roy Fetterolf.
She worked for General Electric, in Brockport, N.Y., retiring in 1974 after many years on the assembly line.
She was a member of the Troxelville United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed crocheting and latch hook rugs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in the Aurand Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St.,
Beavertown, with the Pastor Kathy Mercado officiating. Interment will be held in Troxelville Union Cemetery.
