Carolyn Lee Fetter Anderson
Carolyn Lee Fetter Anderson passed away peacefully on December 16, 2011 in Madison, WI. Lee was a much beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was born in Harrisburg, PA. on July 19, 1941, attended La Marque High School in La Marque, TX, and the University of Texas in Austin. To this day and beyond, Lee is an avid Longhorn supporter.
She married her longtime love William Lee Anderson on Sept. 7, 1963. Lee spent many years raising their two beautiful children, Kimberly Ann and Keith Aaron. They moved all over, in and out of the country, while William Lee worked for Union Carbide. He passed away in May, 1985. She later worked for American National Insurance Co., USAA and the Continuum as a computer programmer.
Lee is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly Ann and Bill Donohoe; and her son and daughter-in-law Keith Aaron and Kimberly Anderson. She has eight grandchildren, William, Mary Rose, Katie Lee, Jack and Michael Donohoe and Abigail, Jackson, and Gretchen Anderson. Lee is also survived by two sisters, Sally Fetter Winslow and husband John and Lynn Fetter Smith and husband Dudley and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law and their wives. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Anderson, her father and mother, William H. and Jean Catherine Fetter, her father and mother-in-law, Dr. William T. and Bertha Anderson.
Funeral service will be held at La Marque Presbyterian Church at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21st under the direction of the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, TX. A graveside service and reception will follow.
