Amy A. Bayne, 88, died June 28, 1997 in Winlock. She was born September 27, 1908 in Little Falls, Washington to Logan and Louise Ferrier, and was a lifelong resident of Vader.

Mrs. Bayne was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Vader, where she was active in the Church Quilters and bible study. She married Ellis Bayne in 1943 and he died in March 19, 1997.

Survivors include four sons, LeRoy Bayne of Vader, Gerald Ricker of Visalia, California, Oscar Ricker of White Salmon, Washington, and Ralph Ricker of Enumclaw, Washington; four daughters, Clara Ralph of Winlock, Diane Skeen of Parkersburg, WV, Shirley McGarvey of Gold Beach, Oregon and Doris Johnson of Orlando, Florida; a sister, Grace West of Montesano, Washington; 22 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church in Vader with Pastor Steve Caskey officiating. Interment will follow at Little Falls Cemetery, Vader. Memorials may be made to the church. Arrangements are by Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.
