V. Maye Fenner

CHARDON - V. Maye Fenner worked as an office manager for a variety of employers in the Mentor area and for her husband at Fenner Construction, a cabinet contractor. She also was a payroll clerk for the Chardon schools.

Mrs. Fenner, 77, of Chardon, died Wednesday at University Hospitals in Cleveland.

She was born in Papeete, Tahiti, and lived in Chardon for the last 48 years.

Mrs. Fenner was an active member of Kirtland Restoration Branch Church of Jesus Christ. She was the church organist and musical director, taught Sunday school, worked with the youth groups and visited shut-ins.

She was a former member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kirtland.

Mrs. Fenner is survived by her husband of 48 years, Carroll S.; daughter, Carla Gray of Chardon; a brother; a sister; and two grandchildren.
