She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, George H. "Scrappy" Board; three sons, Nelson J. Board and wife, Malinda of Tavares, FL, Richard K. "Rick" Board and wife, Virginia of Grafton, and Randy S. Board and wife Beverly also of Grafton; three grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, and Daylen Board, all of Florida; three sisters, Deloris Kennedy of Dayton, OH, Virginia Shelton of Grafton, and Phylis Hendricks of Welston, OH; three brothers, Marvin Felton of Simpson, WV, Kermit Felton of Xenia, OH, and Harlan "Possum" Felton, of Simpson; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lois worked at the Hearings and Appeals Division of the Social Security Administration and was the co-owner of G&L Antiques in Grafton.
She enjoyed her family, including her grandchildren, was a professional shopper, and enjoyed playing slot machines. She was Baptist by faith.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, December 18th.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lois Sandy officiating.
Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown.
