FELL, Hideko ''Rose''
Peacefully entered into rest on March 5, 2009 surrounded by her family. Hideko, whose hometown was Osaka, Japan, moved to the United States in the early 1950's after marrying her true love John Ferris Fell. Preceded in death by her husband, Hideko, who spent many years as a talented seamstress with Liberty House, (the best there was) according to coworkers, later became an accomplished artist. She brought so much beauty into many lives not only by her amazing paintings, but by the obvious beauty that God blessed her with both inside and out. Hideko was fortunate to find love a second time in life many years later with Jim Chilcott, Sr., her companion of nearly 30 years, up until his passing in 2000. Hideko will forever be lovingly remembered by both her daughters Rose Marie Joerger, Sharon Lau, sons-in-law LeRoy Joerger, Johnson Lau, grandchildren Lisa Steele, Erik Steele, Cori Rose and Taylor Jade Lau and great-granddaughter Madisen Rose Erickson. The family will hold a private gathering in honor and celebration of Hideko's life.
