Formerly Miss Minnie Franklin daughter of Mr.s and Mrs. Noah Franklin of this place. She was married to Mr. Fell about 6 years ago. Soon after Mrs. Fell took a position in the management of the bank in Pratt, Kansas.
Last week it was announced that a daughter was born to Mr and Mrs Fell and the child's birth was the immediate cause of her death.
The untimely death of this excellent young woman is indeed sad. She was idolized by her husband and family and greatly beloved by her friends. With her heart filled with her new found joy and while her anticipations of the happiness in store for her were radiant with hope it does seem sad that death should have so cruelly and relentlessly ended her bright young life.
Her kind acts and pleasant words are treasured as priceless gems and are the fondest and most sacred recollections of her bereaved relatives and intimate friends.
A select choir furnished music and numerous floral designs given by loving friends covered the casket. A large number of mourning friends followed the remains to the grave. (Lexington Unit Journal Feb. 5, 1892)
