Agatha M. Felix Menzel Arborgast Brugger
Agatha M. Felix Menzel Arborgast Brugger, age 95, of Erie, died on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Pleasant Ridge Manor East following an extended illness. She was born in Erie on October 21, 1916, a daughter of the late Bernhard and Margaret Beyer Felix.
Agatha was a very kind person who was always willing to help those in need. She enjoyed traveling and spending her winters in Florida.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hadrian Menzel; second husband, Fritz Arborgast; third husband, Ewald Brugger; two brothers, Donald and Joseph Felix; and one sister, Lois Royer.
Agatha truly loved and enjoyed her family and leaves to cherish her memory one son, Jim Menzel and his wife, Jackie, of Erie; two grandchildren, Karin (Bryan) Smith and Matthew Menzel, all of Pittsburgh; three great-grandchildren, Courtney, Caden, and Zachary; five sisters, Jean O'Hara, Margaret (Joseph) Szoszorek, Doris (Glenn) Cessna, Carol (Robert) Kosobucki, and Mary Faith (James) Wilson; one brother, Harold (Ellie) Felix; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Erie, PA, on Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to a prayer service there on Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Boniface Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
