Dayton, Feb 15, Mrs Mary Josephine Feldt, widow of August G Feldt died at her home at 5:30 a.m. Sunday. Born in Sweden Nov 18, 1851, her maiden name was Johnson. Mr Feldt, whom she married Oct 15, 1877, died in 1938. She came to the United States in 1872. She belonged to the Lafayette Swedish Lutheran church. Survivors are a son and two daughters: Harry A Feldt, Lafayette rural route 5; Mrs Jay Motter, and Miss Alfreda Feldt, both of Dayton; also a brother, Oscar Magnuson, Dayton. Services at the residence at 2.30 p.m Tuesday, Rev Harold K Joyce officiating; burial in Dayton Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday; Dwight R Baker funeral director in charge.

Suggested edit: Regarding the dual surname: every single record shows Magnuson as a surname, except that obituary in the bio. Her husband's obituary, her children's death records, etc. She was born in Sweden, where they used patronymic naming conventions. She was the daughter of Magnus, so she was Mary (probably Maria) Magnusdotter, which turns into Magnuson in the US. I see why you've used Johnson, but that is not the surname that was used throughout her life.
