Florence Elizabeth (Liz) Febro
1942-2012

Elizabeth Febro, age 69, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 under Hospice care in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Liz was born August 14, 1942 in Pensacola, Florida to Harry and Bernice Hayes Febro. She graduated from Pensacola Technical High school in 1960. She loved music and dance. Even though her ability to dance was taken away when she was afflicted with polio as a toddler, she loved watching it on TV. She loved family reunions on Pensacola beach but because she suffered from epilepsy she often retreated to her bedroom when she felt the noise from all the talking and laughing was too much to bear.

In Ft. Lauderdale she is survived by her devoted care giver and cousin Pamela Guidry Bradley (Mark), cousins Michael Lowery (Dawn) and Jamie Scigliano (Nina), in Tallahassee Beverly Guidry Prim (Roy), Paula Guidry-Donovan (Paul), and Pat Guidry (Nancy), in Arkansas Michael Guidry (Andrea), and several nieces and nephews. Liz was one of seven children, sister Naomi Swindell, Jr. and brothers, James, Charles, Frank, Melvin and David Febro. Many years ago she lost touch with her Febro family but always longed to hear from them and she kept them in her thoughts. Her Guidry family was all she really knew for the last 25 years and she loved all of them very much.
Inurnment will be at Bayview Memorial Park.
