Sarah Jane Fauver

Sarah Jane Fauver, 74, of Leon, WV, departed this life August 26, 2000 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, WV, following an extended illness.

She was born March 4, 1926 in Hamlin, WV, a daughter of the late Brud and Nora (Sponaugle) Burns.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Point Pleasant VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and she was a protestant.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Frederick Fauver; sons, Randall (Donna) Adkins of Point Pleasant and William "Bill" (Karen) Rollins of Leon; daughters, Mary (Paul) Farley of Leon, Donna (Tony) Staats of Rutland, OH, Laura (Larry) Spencer of Point Pleasant, and Nora Hughes of Southside; brother, Billy Burns of Barboursville; sisters, Elsie Riley of Huntington, Barbara Trail of Ormond Beach, FL, and Thelma Pack of Hamlin; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Denver Rollins; brothers, Robert, Charles, Paul and Ralph Jr.; sisters, Ethel and Imogene; two grandchildren.

Service will be Tuesday, August 29, 2000 11 a.m. at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with the Rev. Verlin Hart and the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Baden Presbyterian Cemetery, Leon.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
