Wife of James H Bray.∼Married James H. Bray January 5, 1844 in Fayetteville, Lincoln County, Tennessee. James enlisted in CSA December 9, 1862 at College Grove, Lincoln County, Tennessee, as Private. Was sick with dysentery in hospital at Dawson, Georgia. When the Yankees started their invasion of Dawson, he was taken to Bell Hospital in Rome,Floyd County, Georgia. He died there ane was buried in the Confederate section of Myrtle Hill Cemetery. His stone simply says. J. H. Bray, 44 Tenn.
