Patsy was born July 10, 1924, in Buhl, Idaho, to Harrison and Charlotte Martin Metcalf. She married Francis "Gene" Farthing on Dec. 19, 1942, in Grants Pass.
A homemaker, she enjoyed art, sewing and cooking. She had lived in Eugene intermittently since 1971. She previously lived in Burley and Twin Falls, Idaho, and moved to Grants Pass in 1938.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael and Bruce, both of Eugene; and four grandchildren. A son, Timothy, died previously.
