Funeral services for Rosie Lee Farmer DeYoung, 92, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Ray Holman. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Rosie was born in East Point, LA to George and Julia Farmer. She passed away on June 1, 2012 in Shreveport. Rosie was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Assembly. Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, William A. DeYoung, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, William DeYoung, Jr. and wife, Betty, Robert DeYoung and wife, Gloria, Kirk DeYoung and wife, Carla, and Rickey DeYoung and wife, Dianne; daughters, Marie Larrison and husband, Bill, Patricia Mayfield and husband, Billy, and Reneé Harris and husband, Larry; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 37 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Haddock Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
