William Wrenford Farley
Mr. William Wrenford Farley, 77, of Cumberland, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo of cancer.
Born September 15, 1921 in Webster County, he was a retired bus operator, member of Marvin Hill Methodist Church of Cumberland, an Army Veteran of World War II, and a Mason. Mr. Farley operated a bus for Continental Trailways Bus Co. from 1947 to 1989. He was co-owner with his brother, Billy Farley, of the Western Auto Store in Maben from 1956 to 1994.
Funeral services were held October 28 at 2 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with Rev. Raleigh Richter and Rev. John Poles officiating. Burial was in Marvin Hill Cemetery in Cumberland.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Pittman Farley of Cumberland; two daughters, Elizabeth Jean Farley Wilson of Birmingham, Ala., Sandra Dean Farley Gordon of Cumberland; two sons, William Wrenford "Jimmy" Farley, Jr. of Corinth, David(Incomplete)
