Richard Fant, 62, of Satellite Beach, Florida passed away on March 17, 2014 in Gainesville, Florida after a long battle with liver disease.

Visitation and Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, at 3:00pm at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach.

Richard was born in New York City, New York to Conrad and Theresa Fant on August 18, 1951. He graduated from State University of New York at New Paltz and worked as a financial manager for several prominent businesses including ITT, Crosswinds and Beta Max Hoists. Richard loved playing tennis, restoring antique cars and spending quality time with his children.

Richard is preceded in death by his beautiful sister Tracy Cook. Richard is survived by his son Anthony, daughter Taylor, brother Randy, sisters Tina and Carol, and his parents Conrad and Theresa.

Richard's family would like to encourage everyone to consider organ donation and those who would like to do so can register at www.donatelifeflorida.org. Many lives like those of Richard's and countless others, could be saved by making this purposeful decision.
