MARLBOROUGH - Regina M. (Fahey) Bauks, 86, of Marlborough, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Wingate Nursing Home in Sudbury. Born in Marlborough, daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Shorten) Fahey, she lived in Marlborough most of her life and in Shrewsbury, where she raised her son, for 25 years. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough. An avid contest participant, she entered many contests, winning many trips to other parts of the United States and Europe for her family. She appeared on television multiple times on shows such as the "Big Pay Off," "Stop the Music" and the "Pat Boone Show." She will be missed by all, especially her son and daughter-in-law. She leaves her son and his wife, Daniel Z. Bauks and Linda Palladino-Bauks of Westford; her former husband, Zida C. Bauks of North Chelmsford; a nephew, Michael Coppola of Marlborough; and a niece, Maryanne (Coppola) Frost and her husband, Pastor Wallace Frost of Laurel, Md. She was the sister of the late Robert Fahey and Eleanor (Fahey) Coppola. The funeral will be held Friday, July 13, at 9 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home in Marlborough.
