Mary Alice Barnosky, 80, of Springfield died Monday at St. John's Hospital North.
She was born Aug. 22, 1915, in Chariton, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Florence Estella Ansley Evans. She married Raymond M. Barnosky in 1937. Mrs. Barnosky had been a resident of Springfield most of her life. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Southern View Chapel. She was an active participant in Seniorama.
Survivors: husband, Raymond M.; five daughters, Delores Sasser of Graceville, Fla., Janet K. and Judy M. Barnosky and Mrs. Larry (Marlus S.) Kasper, all of Springfield, and Mrs. Dennis (Rosalee) Crady of Rochester; two sons, Robert E. and Peter R. Barnosky, both of Springfield; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Estella Wilson of Indianola, Iowa; two brothers, Raymond Douglas of Lakewood, Calif., and Harry Douglas of Long Beach, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services: Southern View Chapel, the Revs. Gary Gilley and Edward Hellyer officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
