Gloria J. Evans, 63, of 412 Leitch St., Fulton, died Saturday, Feb. 18, at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Evans was a life resident of Fulton. She was the past president of VFW Post 569 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at Farnham Crisis Center, and at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, where she was a receptionist for several years. She was a member of the Fulton and Volney senior citizens clubs. Her husband, Robert H., died in 1980. Surviving are three daughters, Marion R. Robinson of Clarksville, TN, and Marilyn A. Stone and Michelle M. Evans, both of Fulton; one son, Michael R. of Fulton; three sisters, Beverly Shue and Pauline Blake of Fulton and Rosalie Skelton of California; two brothers Jack Warren of Syracuse and Russell Warren of Oswego; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Foster Funeral Home, the Reverend Karla J. Frost officiating. Spring burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
