Lucille Evans Bryant, 95, went home to be with Jesus Sunday February 28th, at Greensboro Place Assisted Living.

A 1 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday March 2nd at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel with Rev. Marion Boling officiating. Interment will be private.

A Buena Vista, Ky. native, Lucille was born April 18, 1914 the daughter of William Henry Evans and Della Ruble Evans. She was a faithful member of Lawndale Baptist Church. At Lawndale she taught Sunday school, was a member of the Lawndale Round Table, WMU and sang with The Voices of Experience. Lucille was a member of the Country Park Garden Club and served as a Red Cross volunteer.

Lucille loved bowling, gardening, going shopping and antiquing. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Lucille will surely be missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wesley Russell Bryant in 1987 and by 2 brothers.

Lucille is survived by three children Frances Bryant Glaze and husband Bill of Summerfield, Melinda Bryant of Greensboro and James Wesley Bryant and wife Sally of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren, Ann Meng and husband Steve, Michael Cooke and wife Cindy and David Cooke; five great grandchildren, Christopher, Keri, Colby, Lauren and Zach and two great- great grandchildren, Taylor and Landon; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service Tuesday March 2nd, at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.forbisanddick.com.

The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to the staff of Greensboro Place Assisted living for the tender loving and compassionate care that was shown to Lucille.
