She married R. M. Bahn in 1939 at Carbondale. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, R. M. Bahn, Jr.
Mrs. Bahn graduated from the Metropolis city schools and obtained her bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Michigan State University in 1931. She received her masters degree in bacteriology in 1937.
Mrs. Bahn taught at Marion High School from 1931 to 1936. She worked for the State Public Health Laboratory from 1937 to 1944 and at Holden Hospital as an X-ray technician from 1944 to 1955. Since 1955, she has been employed at the SIU Health Service as an X-ray technician.
She was a member of the American Society of Medical technologists, the American Society of X-ay Technicians, Iota Sigma Pi, honorary chemistry sorority, and the Carbondale First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Bahn died at the age of 47 in Holden Hospital after an illness of several months.
