She was born Aug. 28, 1945, in Edinburgh, Scotland, to David B. and Margaret T. (Middlehurst) Drummond. She married Larry Estep at Barclay Church in Edinburgh on July 17, 1964. He survives.
Mrs. Estep is survived by her husband, Larry of Havana; two brothers, Thomas (Fran) Drummond of Rosslyn, Scotland, and David (Cheryl) Drummond of Hernando, Miss.; four sisters, Wilma (Steve) Brown of Washington, Ill., Margaret (Jack) Walker of Havana, Elizabeth (Neil) Ramsay of Edinburgh, Scotland, and Fiona (Barry) Campen of Mapleton, Ill.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William S. Drummond.
Mrs. Estep was a member of the Havana Church of Christ and VFW Post 6408 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a graduate of Darroch High School in Edinburgh and immigrated to the United States in December of 1964. She completed her citizenship in 1970.
She worked at the South Side Bank in Peoria and later as a proof operator for CEFCU in Peoria, retiring in 2004.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Warren Hughes will officiate.
