Julia Yevonne Allardyce, 90, of Country Wood Estates, Sour Lake, Texas died February 7, 2007 at Country Dreams Assisted Living Facility in Pine Ridge. She worked for South Park Inependent School District as a school secretary for 20 years. She retired in 1977. She and her husband moved to Wildwood, Texas and enjoyed many years of golfing and traveling with friends. She was a charter member of Wildwood Baptist Church before moving her church membership to Pinewood Baptist Church. In her later years of retirement, she enjoyed relaxed country living in her Country Wood Estates Home. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, David Winton Allardyce, Sr., of Country Wood Estates; son, Milton Allardyce and his wife Frances Allardyce of Country Wood Estates, grandchildren, Mark Allardyce and his wife Kristi of Bend Oregon, John Allardyce, Jr., of Denver, Colorado, Amber Allardyce of Georgetown, Texas, and Trey Allardyce of California; great grandchildren,Chris Allardyce and Sarah Allardyce of Washington, D.W. Allardyce,IV of California, Jonathan Taylor Allardyce, Grace Frances Allardyce, Chad William Arnoldy, and Justin Thomas Arnoldy of Bend, Oregon; Daughter-in-law, Judy Allardyce of Georgetown, sister, Sarah Fowler of Beaumont; brother, Bill Erwin of Pinewood. Yevonne was preceded in death by her son, David Allardyce. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Broussard's 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the mortuary. Yevonne will always be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mom, grandmother, great gramdmother, and friend to many. The family would like to thank the kind and loving care givers at Country Dreams and Patricia Ann Anderson, "Peaches".
