Cathryn Givan Ericson, 24, Provo, died Dec. 11, 1985, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 26, 1961. In Huntsville, Ala., a daughter of Larry E. and Barbara Judd Givan.
She married Shawn Ericson, Aug. 20, 1985, in Provo.
She was educated in Provo schools and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in international relations. She was working as public relations director for the Rape Crisis Center in Salt Lake City.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, of Provo; parents, of Provo; grandparents: Ed Givan, Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Judd, St. George; great-grandmother: Mrs. Ellen Johnson, Salt Lake City; three brothers and two sisters: Shauna Givan, Kevin Givan and Chris Givan, all of Provo; Mrs. Donovan (Terry) Eastman, Des Moines, Iowa; Ted Sooy, Jacksonville, Ill.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Edgemont 1st Ward chapel, 4775 N. Third West.
Friends may call at the chapel one hour before the service.
Burial at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery.
