Funeral services for Einar Erickson, 85, of 8550 Frazier, who died Wednesday at 11:20 p.m. in Schlesinger's Nursing Home, will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. The day and time of the rites has not been set pending word from relatives. Officiating for the services will be the Rev. W.E. Meyer, pastor, and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Kelley-Hixson Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Erickson was a native of Oslo, Norway, and a naturalized American citizen. He had lived in Beaumont since 1910, for 40 years at 830 Van Buren. He had moved to the Frazier address to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. L.R. Bean. He was a retired employee of Mobil Oil Co., where he worked in the pipe department. Survivors include the daughter; four sons, Doyle and Walter Erickson of Beaumont, Daniel Erickson of Livermore, Calif., and Charles Erickson of Dallas; a brother, Tryge Erickson of Oslo; a sister, Mrs. Dagny Johnson of Floral Park, N.Y., and 14 grandchildren.
