Lela May (Granny) England , 68, of rural Sweet Springs , MO , died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, surrounded by her family at Sweet Springs Villa. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery , north of Marshall . Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Born January 21, 1944 in Kansas City , MO , she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Hall and Lelia Sapp Hall. On July 14, 1962 she married Richard England who survives of the home. She had lived in the Hughesville and Sweet Springs areas the last several years and had been a waitress at several local restaurants in Pettis and Saline counties, as well as being a homemaker. She loved flowers, sports, but above all, her family was her greatest love. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Becky Lea of Houstonia, and Teresa Benson of Sweet Springs; four grandchildren, Nathan Lea of Sweet Springs, Shauna Lea of Houstonia, Dwayne Benson and Quinton Benson, both of Sweet Springs; four great-grandchildren, Zoie Lea, Zapher Lea, Quinton Gabriel Benson and Garytt Benson; three sisters, Blanche Davis of Omaha, NE, Mary Keesis and Donna Hall Aldaz, both of Shenendoah, IA; two brothers, Wayne Hall of Edwardsville, KS and Gary Hall of Clarinda, IA; her mother-in-law, Genevieve England of Marshall; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Harold Dean Hall, Bennie Hall, and Jimmy Hall.
