Betty Lou Parris Adzgowski passed away on March 13, 2015 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born on August 19, 1934 in Butler County, Kentucky to Sherman and Dora Embry.

She attended school in the Chicago area. She married Otis Alfred Parris who preceded her in death. She owned and operated her own business for many years. She later married Wesley Adzgowski who preceded her in death. She enjoyed working in the church and assisted in many positions. She was named Volunteer of the Year in Lexington, Kentucky for her selfless giving to others. She created beautiful crafts and enjoyed crocheting. Spending time with her family and being with her grandchildren were the highlights of her life. She loved her grandchildren very much.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husbands Otis Parris and Wesley Adzgowski.

Survivors include her daughter, two grandchildren, two step-daughters, two brothers, as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service is scheduled for 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Father Peter Phung will officiate the services. Interment will follow at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville.
