Charles William Elsken, 73, of Paris, Arkansas died January 1, 2010 in Paris.

He was born March 7, 1936 in Paris to his parents William and Albertine Girard Elsken.

He was a retired electrician with the City of Paris and Adams Plumbing & Electric, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an Arkansas National Guard veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Catherine Nehus.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Hilda Elsken of Paris; four sons, Stephen Elsken, Edward Elsken, William Elsken, all of Paris, and Michael Elsken of the home; a daughter, Dianna Stehle of Paris; a sister, Barbara Kearney and two grandchildren.

Rosary was at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris. Funeral Mass were at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Ullrich, Bob Gack, Rick Nehus, Gary Eveld, Wes McCubbin and Louis Frederick.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Frank Beshoner, Bobby Nehus and Garret Beshoner.
