Funeral services for Ben Ellis, 67, E. Moline, Ill., native of Brownfield, who died while driving his car near Silvis, Ill., were held at 1 p. m. on Monday, July 10, at the Aly Funeral Home, Eddyville. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with the Rev. John L. Cox officiating.
Mr. Ellis died Thursday, July 6. ( 1978 ) A maintenance employee of the East Moline Mental Health Care Center for 21 years, Mr. Ellis was born at Brownfield, Ill., June 5, 1911, the son of the late Ben and Millie Parmley Ellis.
