Mrs. Sarah Ellis, 74, of 3004 Raleigh, a long-time Dallas resident, died Monday in a Dallas hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Ellis was born in Louisiana, and was the widow of W. R. Ellis.
Survivors are a son, E. R. Ellis of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. T. M. Lucas of Dallas, and four grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were pending Monday night at Sparkman's Funeral Home, 2115 Ross.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Bradford Ellis, 74, of 3004 Raleigh, a Dallas resident 65 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Hillcrest Mausoleum, with the Rev. William Holmes officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum.

Survivors are a son, W. R. Ellis, and a sister, Mrs. T. M. Lucas, both of Dallas, and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hugh Bradford, W. T. Overton, W. R. Goddard, Bradford Kelly, Dr. Bedford Shelmire Jr., Dr. Mark L. Lemmon and Thomas N. Overton.
