Husband 58 years of Louise (Searcy) Elliott. Also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean & Vicky Elliott of Virginia and Joe & Marsha Elliott of Kentucky; three grandchildren, John Elliott of Virginia, and Hayden & Bryce Elliott of Kentucky; three sisters, Clover McDaniel of North Carolina, Corrine Strickland of Florida, and Clara Kelly of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia Whitmer; his parents, Claude Elliott, Sr. & Clotilda Frady Elliott; brothers, Cluster & Calvin Elliott.
Interment in the Church graveyard followed funeral services conducted Monday, January 26, 2009.
