Jerry W. Elling, 69, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood. Jerry was born in Lawton, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Evelyn Elling; brothers, Danny and Edwin Elling. Survivors: Wife, Deonne Elling; son, Eddie Elling; daughter, Kelli Roper and husband, Barry; granddaughter, Logan Richardson; sister, Rhonda Anderson; brothers, Edward "Hoss" Elling, Randy Elling and wife, Karie.
