He went to work in the West Virginia Coal Mines at a very young age to help his brothers support the Family. He took time off to serve in The US Army during WWII. In the fifties he left West Virginia to work in the auto industry in Michigan, then moved to Chicago, Ill where he
retired from White Westinghouse in Chicago, Ill. He always sent money to help support his Mother.
He never married so After retirement he moved to Greenville SC to be near his sister Faye and her Family. He said He was tired of shoveling Snow.
He is survived by his sisters Maiana Faye Eller Tollison and her husband Richard Tollison, Greenville, SC, Thelma Gay Eller Day, Abbs Valley, Va., a brother Glenn Pershing Eller, Mont Calm, West Va. eight nieces and seven nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Montie Eller, his brothers, Guy Garfield Eller, Cletus Terrell Eller, Otis Vaughan Eller, Lindsey Paul "LP" Eller, one nephew, and one niece.
