Roby - Wilma Elam, 56, of Roby died at 12:45 a.m. Friday at the Fisher County Hospital after a brief illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Weathersbee Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan.

The Rev. L.W. Baker, pastor of the Roby First United Methodist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Cecil Tune, pastor of the Rotan First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery.

Born July 27, 1920, in Rotan, she had worked for 30 years for Western Union Corp. in Kansas City, Mo. before retiring and moving to Roby three years ago. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include two sons, Carl of Kansas City, Mo. and Don of Sweetwater; a daughter, Mrs. Tommy (Patricia Sharon) Hood of Snyder; her mother, Mrs. E.F. Campbell of Roby; a sister, Mrs. Marion Paske of Roby; and aunt, Carlle Butler of Roby; and ten grandchildren.
