Carl Eitzmann of Byron and Miss Dora Mueller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mueller of Johnson, were married by the Rev. J.H. Dirks of that place and will live in Byron.

DORA MUELLER EITZMANN

Dora Katherine Mueller, daughter of Johann Diedrick and Wilhelmine Wohlers Mueller was born December 7, 1887 in Nordholz, Germany and died September 6, at the Good Samaritan Home at Superior at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 29 days.

She came to this country at an early age and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Johns church (sic) near Auburn, Neb., March 23, 1902.

March 3, 1910 she was united in marriage to Carl Eitzmann of Byron. The couple moved to a farm near Hardy. To this union five children were born.

She was afflicted with arthritis and became a wheel chair patient in 1962. In 1968 she entered the Republic County Hospital and from there moved to the Good Samaritan Home in Superior February 4, 1968.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who died in February 23, 1969, one son, one sister, two brothers and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors are: three sons, Arthur of Byron, Oscar and Leonard of Hardy; one daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Elsa) Michel of Johnson, Neb. one sister, Mrs. Marie Boehm of Superior; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Peters Lutheran church (sic) of Byron conducted by Pastor A.L. Meyer. Interment was in Saint Peters cemetery (sic).
