Virginia Eisner Day, 97, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 surrounded by her family.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Pat Bellew officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Day was born in Macon, GA to the late Frederick and Alice Spillers Eisner. She was preceded in death by her husband,Robert L. Day, Sr. Mrs. Day was the owner and operator of Day's Bakery for many years and was the owner of Day's Flying Service, where she had her pilots license.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Deena (David) Becham, Cheryl (William) Wimberly, Skipper Jenkins, Steve Day and Stacey Stokes, 15 grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of the arrangements.
