Charlotte P. (Mansberger) Eisensmith, 83, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services. She was the wife of Thomas E. Eisensmith.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York, with the Rev. Dr. Ronald Oelrich of Faith United Church of Christ officiating. A funeral cortege will form at 10:45 a.m. at the main entrance of the cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York, is entrusted with arrangements.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Eisensmith is survived by two sons, Michael Eisensmith of York and David Eisensmith and wife, Sherry of Red Lion; and one granddaughter, Ashley Eisensmith.

Every year, Charlotte had decorated an Easter egg for her husband Tom. They kept the eggs, which were hard boiled before being painted, over the years and display the collection at Easter.
She just put them on a shelf in the basement and didn't let anyone bother them. She inherited the idea from her parents who did the same for her.
Charlotte and Tom met at the former Playland Roller Skating Rink. They married June 28, 1958
