Annie was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Inez Padgett of Jacksonville; five sisters, including Mrs. Weaver Harville, and Mrs. Monette Marschall, both of Brooksville; three brothers, John and William P. Brownell, both of Brooksville; and Frank Brownell, Odessa. Annie married Roy Lee Eiland in Citrus County, Florida in 1936 and they had five children: Gene; Inez; Roy Lee, Jr.; Nellie; and Charles Edward. Roy's brother, John "JC" Charles Eiland was my grandfather and he told me that Roy and Annie were unable to care for their children and placed them in a children's home. I have been looking for their five children for over 20 years. If you have any information regarding my cousins, please contact me at [email protected].
