CHESTERFIELD, MO. - Frances "Fran" O. Eichorn, 91, died at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, Mo.

Born June 24, 1923, in Alton, she was the daughter of Patrick and Eva (Douglas) Hendy. She was a homemaker and a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. On June 8, 1942 she married Joseph F. Eichorn. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2002.

Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Eichorn of Ballwin, Mo.; a grandson, Christopher Joseph Eichorn of Van Nuys, Calif.; and a sister, Veronica Horn of Kansas City, Mo.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Patrick Eichorn and a sister, Rosemary Jacobson.

Private family services will be held at Gent Funeral Home in Alton with Monsignor Kenneth Steffen officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Godfrey.

Memorials may be made to Marquette High School.
