DR. C. P. EICHELBERGER

Dr. Charles P. Eichelberger died Saturday at his home in Roanoke.

He was a son of the late Dr. Henry Samuel Eichelberger and Susana Catherine Eichelberger of Staunton. He attended Staunton Military academy and was a graduate in medicine of the University of Virginia; was assistant surgeon of the Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat infirmary of New York, physician of the New York Skin and Cancer hospital, and at one time resident physician of the New York Polyclinic and Mothers' and Babies' hospital.

Dr. Eichelberger, who resided in Staunton for many years, a portion of which time he operated a drug store on West Beverley street, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sylvia Fridley Eichelberger, a son, Charles Preston Eichelberger Jr., and two brothers, Harry of Lexington, and Hugh G. Eichelberger of Norfolk.

Private services will be held at Oakley's chapel, Roanoke, Monday at eleven a.m. Interment will be in Thornrose cemetery here Monday at two p.m.
