Charles Ronald Egan, 66, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and best friend, died July 8, 1991 at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Born September 13, 1924 in Roaring Springs, Pennsyvlania to J. Harrison and Helen Naomi Chaplin Egan.

Married Lucille Weeks on January 19, 1965 in Salt Lake City.

Veteran of World War II and Korean Conflict, U.S. Army. Member of Nevada Army National Guard. Member of Teamsters Local #222. Member of American Legion. Member of Bee's Motorcyle Club, where he was former president.

Chuck raised pheasants for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed greatly going to Mazatlan, Mexico.

Survived by wife, Lucille; children, Gary, Nancy and Bill, Pat and Jim, Arlie and Yvone, Bill and Linda, Richard and Lori, Steve and Susan, Elmer and Margaret, Mary and B.C., Bob and Debie, Chuck and Coli, Vicky and Brent, and Don; twenty-three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Mona Powers; brother, Bud Peterson; one niece and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 1991 at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Burial: Redwood Memorial Estates.
