Flossie Marita Bishop, 83, of Conway died Monday (May 13, 2002) in Conway.
Born Aug. 31, 1918, in Vilonia, daughter of the late Walter Iris and Leliah Stevens Edwards, she was a homemaker and a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Roy Bishop.
Survivors are her sons, Darrell Bishop and wife Charlotte of Sherwood, Edward "Bud" Bishop and wife Lowetta of North Little Rock, Danny Bishop and wife Jackie of Enola and Jimmy Bishop and wife Brenda of Conway; her daughters, Irice Sipes and husband Jerry of Conway and Carol Hambrick and husband Bill of Conway; a brother, W.H. Edwards of Sherwood; a sister, Margie Roberts of Humphrey; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim McKay and the Rev. Randy Nix. Burial will be in Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia.
Pallbearers will be Michael Sipes, Wayne Bishop, Randy Bishop, Steve Bishop, Tobie Bishop, Bo Ballard.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72114.
